Excitement Around the Beginning of the season- Chennai Super Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants Match
CSK finished 2nd in the IPL 2021 edition, but they were crowned champions. They have lost a game against the KKR in the season opener match though.
CSK lost the toss and Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway, who were the Super Kings' opening pair, were immediately sent back. Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for the Knight Riders as they won the toss and decided to field.
Robin Uthappa's brief stay at the office ended in a sensational stumping by Sheldon Jackson, who was able to complete his dismissal in the eighth over. The Super Kings were struggling at 57 for four at half-time.
LSG is a new team that debuted in this 15th edition of IPL. They have only gone through one game as of late, and they lost that match against another new team, Gujarat Titans.
Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya won the Toss and opted to field first. That decision gave GT an advantage of sending one of LSG’s best KL Rahul away early in the match, thanks to the stellar play by the Player of the Match Mohammad Shami.
Not only Rahul, Quinton de Kock was also cleaned up by Shami in the very next Over.
