IPL 2022: Harshal Patel, Riyan Parag in verbal fight during RCB vs RR

Royal Challengers Bangalore's Harshal Patel and Rajashtan Royals' Riyan Parag were involved in heated arguments at the end of the first innings during Tuesday's match in Pune. It took RR's fielding coach to break off the fight so the game can go on. Both players later refused to do customary handshakes after the unsavory word exchange.

Parag was seen blowing off at bowler Patel when the Royals bat first in the first innings. They were yelling at each other screaming until RR's fielding coach Dishant Yagnik break the verbal fight. They then went back to their own dugout still yelling at each other as the innings ended.

The fight between the two continues to the second innings of the game when RCB took the bat. Patel was the last batsman for Bangalore before bowler Kuldeep Sen dismissed him at only 19.3 over. The match then ended with Rajasthan winning the game then both teams shook each other hands in sportsmanship solidarity.

But that is not the case with the two players who previously fought in the first innings, Parag and Patel. Parag was the first to hold up his hand intending to shake the bowler’s hand. But Patel ignored his hand and move on to shake Parag's teammates instead. Parag was shocked at first but also continue to shake RCB’s other players.
